Spiti Valley is a breathtaking and isolated area situated in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Commonly known as the “Middle Land,” it occupies a unique position between India and Tibet, a characteristic that is evident in its rich Tibetan Buddhist heritage. The valley is celebrated for its stunning scenery, featuring impressive mountain ranges, arid high-altitude deserts, ancient monasteries, and quaint traditional villages.

Arrive at Chandigarh Railway Station in the early morning. You will meet our representative, and we will proceed to Shimla. Upon arrival, our representative will escort you to your pre-booked hotel (check-in time is 12:00 P.M.; early check-in is subject to room availability). Later, enjoy sightseeing, which includes: • Mall Road, Ridge, Lakkar Bazaar, Rani Jhansi Park • Kali Bari Temple, Scandal Point, Cable Car Ride • Jakhoo Temple, Christ Church, and more.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on a drive from Shimla to Sangla, one of the most picturesque valleys in the Himalayas. The journey will take you through Kufri and Narkanda, leading you to Baspa Valley, renowned for its stunning beauty. Arrive at Sangla/Chitkul and check into your hotel. After a delightful dinner, enjoy a restful overnight stay.

After breakfast, explore the surrounding area, including the ancient Kamru Fort and the temple dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya Devi, which was relocated from Assam. After lunch, head out for an excursion to Chitkul, the last village on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Chitkul is the final inhabited village before the Indo-China border, where you can visit the famous ‘Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba.’ Stroll through the lush apple orchards and along a beautiful stream, then visit Roghi Suicide Point before driving to Kalpa. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Following a delightful breakfast, we will set off for Tabo. Our journey will take us along the Indo-Tibet Highway, where we will cross the Khab Bridge, which signifies the meeting point of the Spiti and Satluj Rivers. We will also visit the frozen Nako Lake and enjoy a hot lunch in Nako village before entering the Spiti Valley upon crossing Sumdo. Just 3 kilometers after Sumdo, we will take a right detour through the gate to see the 500-year-old mummy in Gue Village, continuing our journey towards Tabo.

After an early breakfast, we will depart for Kaza, traversing the stunning Spiti Valley. Along the way, we will visit Dhankar Monastery and pass through the Pin Valley National Park, where the Pin and Spiti Rivers converge. We will make a brief stop at Mudh Village, the last settlement in Pin Valley, for lunch, followed by a leisurely walk in the national park. We will then continue our journey to Kaza, where we will spend the night at a hotel or homestay.

After an early breakfast, you will have the opportunity to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Kaza. Key Gompa Monastery, located in a bowl-shaped valley of the small village of Langza, is a must-visit. Langza is situated at an impressive altitude of approximately 14,500 feet above sea level, making it one of the highest villages globally with a motorable road. Nearby, Komic Village holds the title of the highest village. Hikkim, another village close to Kaza, is recognized as one of the highest inhabited locations in India year-round. After visiting the picturesque villages of Langza, Hikkim (home to the world’s highest post office), and Komic (the world’s highest motorable village), as well as the Chicham Bridge, the highest bridge in Asia, you will return to your hotel in Kaza.

After early morning breakfast, after having a hearty breakfast, you will leave for Chandratalvia Losar, Kunzum Pass. The beauty of this place is spectacular and you will have to leave behind the vehicle and then trek for two kilometres to reach the lake.
The lake is situated in the Spiti part of the Lahaul and Spiti district and is also called the “Moon Lake” due to its crescent shape.
It is overlooked by the mountains on one side and a cirque on the other. After the sunset, the lake glitters under the starlit sky adding to its overall charm.

After early morning breakfast, after having a hearty breakfast, you will leave for Manali via Batal, Chenab River, Chatru, Gramphu, Atal Tunnel, Solang Valley

After having breakfast check-out from the hotel and you will be leaving for Chandigarhpassing through the beautiful Valleys and start your journey back to Home.
