Along the route, prior to reaching Dolma La, you will encounter sites marked by the footprints of Milarepa and Shiva Tsal. At Shiva Tsal, pilgrims traditionally leave behind personal items, donate a drop of blood, or a lock of hair, symbolizing their desire to relinquish worldly attachments and seek liberation from suffering. According to Tibetan Buddhist beliefs, offerings made at this site are said to be rewarded in the afterlife. Continue your ascent towards Dolma-La pass (5630m) and then descend steeply to Gauri Kund. It is advisable to cross the high pass as early as possible to avoid the onset of strong winds.
