Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, all travelers will need to complete the immigration and customs procedures. Non-Indian passport holders can obtain their Nepal entry visa upon arrival at a designated visa counter within the airport. For convenience, they also have the option to apply for a visa online from their home country. Once outside the airport, our representative will greet you and arrange for your transfer to the hotel. Your first meal in Kathmandu will be dinner, and you will spend the night in a carefully selected three-star hotel.

Visa for Non-Indian passport holders :  To enter Nepal, travelers can acquire a visa upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for a fee of approximately US$35. For obtaining a visa to enter China, applicants must submit their original passport along with the application form, a recent color photograph, and the visa fee to the China Embassy located in Kathmandu. The processing time for the China visa is a minimum of 3-4 working days. Consequently, non-Indian travelers should plan their travel itinerary to Kathmandu accordingly.

Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel, then proceed to explore the famous Pashupatinath Temple. Afterward, continue your journey to the Jal Narayan Temple and the Guheshwari Temple.

In the morning, following breakfast, embark on a drive to the Shri Kailashnath Mahadev Temple, located approximately 20 kilometers from Kathmandu. The temple is renowned for housing the world’s largest Shiva statue, which serves as its primary draw. After your visit to the Kailashnath Mahadev Temple, proceed to Bhaktapur to explore the Doleshwar Mahadev Temple, recognized as the head of Shri Kedarnath ji, situated in Uttarakhand, India. The remainder of the day will be free for relaxation before we commence our journey to Kailash Mansarovar the following morning.

Begin your day with breakfast before boarding the bus to Syabrubesi via Dhunche. Be prepared for a challenging journey, as the road conditions along this route are quite poor. Although the distance is merely 145 kilometers, expect to reach your destination in at least 7 hours due to the difficult terrain. Take a break for lunch at a roadside restaurant before continuing your trip. Ultimately, you will arrive in Syabrubesi, where you will spend the night at a guesthouse that you have reserved in advance.

Begin your day by waking up early and enjoying breakfast before embarking on your journey to the Nepal-China border. Upon arrival, you will complete the necessary immigration and customs procedures. After crossing the Nepal border, you will enter China, where you will continue your drive to Kerung / Kyirong (also referred to as Gyirong) with the assistance of a Tibetan guide. You will spend the night at your hotel in Kerung / Kyirong.

Important Remark :  When traveling at high altitudes, you may experience some discomfort related to your health. It is recommended for all travelers to increase their fluid intake, which can include soups, juices, teas, coffees, or hot water. This will aid in rehydration and enhance respiratory function.

Today you are free to spend your day as you want. Acclimatize your body in the weather conditions of Tibet either by walking in the local markets here or staying in the hotel for the whole day. If situation does not permits, the guide may decide to stay back at Kyirong for this night.

This day in Saga serves as an extra opportunity for the group to acclimatize. You can either unwind at the hotel or engage in a brief trek to get ready for the kora around Mt. Kailash.

This day is regarded as the most significant of the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra. You will not only enjoy a wonderful stay near Lake Manasarovar but also witness your first glimpse of the sacred Mount Kailash while traveling from Saga to Lake Manasarovar. Begin your day with breakfast at your guesthouse before setting off towards Lake Manasarovar. Upon arrival, check in to your pre-arranged accommodation nearby, where you can partake in rituals and enjoy a holy bath close to the lake. Please note that swimming in the holy lake is not allowed. You can request the sherpas to bring holy water in a bucket, allowing you to sit at the lake’s edge for your holy bath. You will spend the night at your accommodation near Manasarovar.

Take some time to partake in a holy bath and perform Pooja rituals along the shores of the lake. Afterward, enjoy lunch before embarking on your journey to Darchen, the base of Mt. Kailash, where you will witness the ‘Southern face of Mount Kailash,’ often regarded as the back of Lord Shiva in Hindu texts. Upon arrival in Darchen, check in to your hotel. Use this time to prepare for the trekking adventure that awaits you the following morning, and spend the night there.

Have some breakfast at your guesthouse. Spend leisurely time while engaging yourself in meditation and other activities to rejuvenate your mind and soul. Depending upon permission by the local authorities and army, we may go to touch Mount Kailash through the challenging but a highly rewarding trek namely ‘Charan Sparsh’ (Touching Mount Kailash). Those people who are physically as well as mentally fit can undertake this trek. In Charan Sparsh (Touch Kailash Trek), one can reach the foot of the mount to touch Kailash (touching the holy feet of Lord Shiva). Stay overnight at your lodge in Dirapuk.

Rise early today to witness the breathtaking golden hues of Mount Kailash. Observe how this sacred mountain transforms its colors as the first rays of sunlight illuminate its surface. After enjoying this stunning view, embark on your trek towards Zuthulphuk Gompa, passing through Dolma La Pass at an elevation of 18,600 feet. From Dolma La, you will have a close-up view of Gauri Kund Lake. Take a moment to appreciate the scenery before continuing your journey. After trekking for several kilometers, we will stop for the night at a modest mud house. The accommodation consists of a simple hall with a few beds and blankets. While the cleanliness may not be ideal, we will rest here in preparation for our visit to Kuber Kund Lake the following morning before proceeding to Suthulpukh.

In the morning, we will embark on the trek to Kuber Kund, which is part of the Mount Kailash Inner Kora. While Kuber Kund can also be reached via the Khande Sanglam route, opting for that path would mean missing out on the Dolma La trek and the Gauri Kund visit. Therefore, we have chosen the outer kora route to ensure we experience both the Dolma La pass and Gauri Kund. Recent reports from trekkers indicate that the Khande Sanglam route has become increasingly hazardous due to falling rocks, making it a more challenging option. To prioritize safety and avoid potential accidents, we have decided to take the Dolma La pass along the Mount Kailash outer kora route. After departing from your tea house, you will trek to Kuber Kund in the morning and then descend towards Darchen. Following a few kilometers of walking towards Darchen, vehicles will be available to transport the group to Darchen.

Today, relax for the whole day at Darchen and take all meals in your hotel/guesthouse/lodge.

Begin your day by rising early in the morning to embark on your trek to the South Face of Mount Kailash. This journey from Darchen to the Saptrishi Caves, passing through Ashtapad, primarily involves the circumambulation of Mount Nandi (Nandi Parvat), which is why it is referred to as the ‘Nandi Kora.’ Along the way, you will explore significant sites such as the Rishi Cave, Sherlung Gompa, Ashtapad, Nandi Parvat, Kailashi Gange, Atmalingam, and the Saptrishi caves. Additionally, you have the opportunity to visit the nearby white lake and red lake close to Atmalingam. Continue your trek and make your way back down to Sherlung Gompa, ultimately returning to Darchen for an overnight stay.

This day is designated as a buffer to address any unforeseen delays that may arise due to unavoidable circumstances. If the group has already finished the kora, the guide may opt to return to Saga for an overnight stay. The guide’s decision will be conclusive and binding for all participants in the trip.

Begin your day with breakfast before embarking on your journey to Saga. Today marks the conclusion of your Mount Kailash Inner Kora package, and we will commence our return to Nepal. You will spend the night at a hotel in Saga.

Begin your day with breakfast at your guesthouse or hotel, then embark on a picturesque drive to Kerung / Keyrong / Gyirong. Spend the night at your reserved guesthouse, lodge, or hotel in Keyrong.

Begin your day with an early breakfast before embarking on your journey to the China-Nepal border to complete the necessary customs and immigration procedures. After finalizing these formalities, continue your drive towards Kathmandu, passing through Syabrubesi and Dhunche along the way. Spend the night at your pre-arranged accommodation in Kathmandu.

Remark: If the group is coming back towards the border a day in advance then one additional night will be added in Kerung (Tibet side) as the accommodation in Kathmandu is only for one night as per the package. If the group wants to enter Nepal before scheduled day, the additional accommodation and services in Nepal side will be payable extra to the guide.

After enjoying some delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will be escorted to Tribhuvan International Airport for boarding the flight to your onward destination/home.
