The trek commences from Gauri Kund to Kedarnath, which is situated at an elevation of 3,584 meters. Accommodation will be arranged at a hotel, with an overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Kedarnath is renowned as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva and is set against the stunning backdrop of the Kedarnath mountain range. The name Kedar is another reference to Lord Shiva, who embodies both protection and destruction. According to legend, after their victory over the Kauravas in the Kurukshetra war, the Pandavas felt remorse for the deaths of their brothers and sought Lord Shiva's blessings for forgiveness. He evaded them multiple times and, while attempting to escape, took the form of a bull at Kedarnath. When pursued, he plunged into the earth, leaving his hump above ground. The remaining parts of Lord Shiva manifested at four other locations, which are revered as his incarnations: his arms at Tungnath, his face at Rudranath, his belly at Madhmaheshwar, and his hair and head at Kalpeshwar. Together, Kedarnath and these four shrines are collectively known as PanchKedar. An overnight stay will be provided at a guest house.

This morning, visit the Shri Kedarnath Ji Temple to participate in the Puja. Visitors are permitted to enter the Garbha Griha and touch the idol according to the temple's schedule.
