After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, prepare your cameras to capture the breathtaking scenery at Kufri, a charming hill station located 20 kilometers from Shimla. The name Kufri means lake, and it is renowned for attractions such as the Himalayan Nature Park, which features a zoo with Himalayan species like snow leopards and brown bears in a natural forest environment. You can also enjoy the stunning views of Green Valley, also known as Hasan Valley, and visit Chini Bungalow, a notable site in Kufri. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along Mall Road, the heart of Shimla. The Ridge offers a variety of handicrafts and leads to Lakkad Bazaar, along with spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains against a clear blue sky. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the historic Christ Church, Scandal Point, and the famous Jakhoo Temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. After your explorations, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on your journey to Manali, passing through the scenic Kullu Valley. Along the way, make a stop at the renowned Sunder Nagar for sightseeing, which includes visits to Pandoh Dam, the Mini Vaishno Devi Temple, and a shawl factory. Take a break in Kullu to admire the breathtaking views of the Kullu Valley, often referred to as the Valley of Gods. For the adventurous, river rafting in the Vyas River is also available. About Kullu: Kullu serves as the capital of the Kullu District in Himachal Pradesh, India. Nestled along the banks of the Vyas River, it is celebrated as the Valley of Gods and attracts numerous tourists and pilgrims each year.
Following breakfast, you will explore the local attractions in and around Manali. Begin with a visit to Vashisht, home to the ancient Vashishta Temple, which is over 4,000 years old and dedicated to Guru Vashishtha. Inside, you will find a black stone statue of the sage, dressed in traditional attire. The temple is also known for its hot sulphur springs. Next, visit the Hidimba Devi Temple, an ancient cave temple featuring a striking four-tiered pagoda roof, constructed by Maharaja Bahadur Singh in 1553. Other highlights of the day include the Club House with various sports activities, Van Vihar, and a Tibetan monastery. In the evening, take some time to explore the local market before returning to the hotel for the night.
